This Brew & Ale Patterned Body-Cooling Neck Wrap is for the beer aficionado in your life. Water-activated to produce long-lasting personal cooling. Hand washable and reusable for years to come. The water-absorbent polymer reactivates for about ten years!
Kerchiller Body-Cooling Neck Wrap lowers core body temperatures through an evaporative cooling process. These coolers stay about 20-30 degrees cooler than ambient temperatures by slowly evaporating the moisture from the cool gel. When worn around the neck, they cross over and cool down the carotid artery, cycling cooler blood through your circulatory system. 100% cotton fabric provides a breathable wicking action that keeps your Kerchiller cool for days at a time.
If you have sore shoulders or neck muscles, put your activated Kerchiller in the microwave for about 30 seconds and it becomes a soothing moist heat wrap.
This great-looking BREW & ALE print goes with everything and camouflages dirt.
Also, try our Cooling Safari Hat with three cooling channels in the top and neck shade along the back. Or, add a matching headband with three channels of cooling. These are for “hot heads”. They are reversible with two different patterns for different looks. For your cyclist or motorcyclist, try a Do-Rag with two cooling channels across the headband. Fits under a helmet.
Stay cool while sipping a cold one and….Happy Kerchilling!
Heat relief is becoming a more serious concern as temperatures soar higher every year. The elderly and children are at highest risk for heat-related illness. Watch for signs of heat exhaustion such as:
- Confusion.
- Dark-colored urine (a sign of dehydration)
- Dizziness.
- Fainting.
- Fatigue.
- Headache.
- Muscle or abdominal cramps.
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
If you, or anyone else, has symptoms of heat exhaustion, it’s essential to immediately get out of the heat and rest, preferably in an air-conditioned room. If you can’t get inside, try to find the nearest cool and shady place. Other recommended strategies include:
- Drink plenty of fluids, especially sports drinks to replace lost salt (avoid caffeine and alcohol).
- Remove any tight or unnecessary clothing.
- Take a cool shower, bath, or sponge bath.
- Apply other cooling measures such as fans or ice towels.
